Pizza is equally well-loved and is now one of the most popular dishes in the world. Born in Gaeta, Italy, around 997AD, it was initially made without tomato sauce. But of course, this changed pretty soon after when the Italians discovered tomatoes. Now it’s enjoyed in homes and restaurants across the world in a variety of flavours, tastes and textures!
